I have a dream.
No, this isn’t about how people treat my children. This is about me, my team and Hampton Bays Track & Field. It may take months, years, even more, and it might not even happen, but I honestly believe we can become a Suffolk powerhouse. I will do everything in my power to make it happen. No longer will we be the sport that people join to lose weight, or just to be on a varsity sport; no, we will be the sport that freaks of nature will join. The people who can sprint like pumas, the people who can jump as if they were about to fly, the people who can lift cars. We will push the hardest, train the greatest, and suceed the most. We WILL become a powerhouse. I don’t care if you think it won’t happen. Just remember who started it when it does. So watch out Southampton, and don’t think this is your Hamptons anymore Westhampton, and just stay out of our way Mercy. Here we come.
